Felipe Gómez Isa

Felipe Gómez Isa is a lecturer in International Public Law and researcher for the human rights institute, Instituto de Derechos Humanos Pedro Arrupe at Deusto University, Bilbao, (Basque Country, Spain). He is National Director of the European Masters Degree in Human Rights and Democratization organized by 40 European Universities in the framework of the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratization (EIUC, Venice, Italy). He was the Spanish representative to the UN Working Group for the elaboration of an Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (UN, 1998 and 1999). His publications include: International Human Rights Law in a Global Context, co-edited with Koen de Feyter, 2009.
