Ketty Luzincourt

Ketty Luzincourt is Chief Executive Officer and founder of the Haitian Institute of Peace which focuses on strengthening learning and research on conflict resolution and peace studies. Her research areas include alternative dispute resolution, intrastate conflicts and the role of education in exacerbating conflict or promoting reconciliation. She has developed and taught courses on peacebuilding and conflict management, facilitating numerous seminars and workshops for local authorities, NGOs and civil society organizations. Prior to that, she worked extensively in development programmes with a variety of institutions, such as the United Nations for Development Program, the European Union, and the Lutheran World Federation. Luzincourt holds a degree in diplomacy, conflict resolution and peacebuilding.
