Prior to joining NOREF, she worked for the Nordic Council of Ministers at the Nordic Gender Institute in Oslo for four years, where she managed several research projects on topics such as gender and climate change, prostitution and trafficking, and the political and economic power relations between men and women in the Nordic countries. She also led parts of the institute’s communication and research dissemination work. Previously she has worked on equality issues within the political realm at the Women’s Organisation of the Swedish People’s Party in Finland. She holds an MSocSc in Sociology from Åbo Akademi University in Finland.
