Marco Mezzera

Marco Mezzera is a research associate at the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael, with the Security and Conflict Programme and Clingendael Asia Studies. He has visited Pakistan on a regular basis since 2007 and has written extensively about issues related to the country’s governance, as well as on democratization and governance issues in fragile contexts. Recent publications include Media & Governance in Pakistan: A Controversial yet Essential Relationship    (October 2010), a report produced for the cluster “Democratization and Transitional Justice Cluster” of the Initiative for Peacebuilding. He holds an MSc in Development Studies from Wageningen University, the Netherlands.
