NOREF is contributing to the pre-opening event of the documentary film festival Human rights, human wrongs on Tuesday 7th February. It starts with a screening of the documentary How to start a revolution at 18.00, followed by a Q&A session with Dr. Sharp, moderated by Steve Crawshaw, international advocacy director at Amnesty International.
Gene Sharp's book From Dictatorship to Democracy has inspired numerous non-violent uprisings against dictatorships around the world. The documentary How to start a revolution contains interviews with both Dr. Sharp and the leaders of resistance movements ranging from Eastern Europe to the Arab spring.
