Ana Larcher Carvalho

Ana Larcher Carvalho is a researcher and lecturer at the Centre for African Studies, Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa, Lisbon University Institute (ISCTE-IUL), in Lisbon, Portugal. Her research focuses on the planning and evaluation of development aid and the impact of external intervention on African societies. She teaches undergraduate and master’s courses on project evaluation and African development. She has experience as a consultant, having led projects on behalf of several United Nations (UN) organisations, the World Trade Organization (WTO), the European Union, the African Development Bank (ADB) and others in various African countries.
