Tilde Rosmer

Tilde Rosmer is a Middle East researcher at the Department of Culture Studies and Oriental Languages, University of Oslo. Her
principal research interests lie in the field of collective identity formation, with particular focus on Israeli Jews from the Middle East
and North Africa and Palestinian citizens of Israel. Her recent publications include “The Islamic Movement in the Jewish state”,
in Political Islam: Context versus Ideology (2010) and “Academic activists and conducting fieldwork in a conflict zone”, in Cultural
Dynamics  (2010).
